Hello and welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. A place where you do not have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or hold everything together. A space where you can show up as you are, whether uncertain, overwhelmed, hopeful, grieving, or growing, and know that all parts of you are welcome. Therapy can be a pause from the noise and expectations of daily life. It offers an opportunity to slow down and listen more closely to what is happening inside. Together, we create room for curiosity instead of judgment, compassion instead of criticism, and understanding instead of shame.
My approach is grounded in person-centred practice and informed by Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I draw from these approaches thoughtfully and collaboratively, always guided by what feels most helpful and meaningful to you.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting people as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, burnout, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity challenges, and personal growth. My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and inclusive. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood, and where we can gently explore what has been weighing on you.
I pair my extensive academic learning with over 27 years of supporting others through the challenges of life. My academic background includes an M.Ed. and PhD in Leadership, Adult Education, and Community Development, along with a B.A. in Child and Youth Care and an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work.
Whether you are seeking support or wanting to better understand yourself, my hope is that our work together helps you build resilience, deepen connection, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
You do not need to have everything figured out to begin. We can start wherever you are.
